Make Sure You Love Teaching
If you are looking for reasons to become a teacher, the number one thing on your list should be that you love to teach people. It’s not just about a paycheck or simply working towards tenure, it’s about molding young minds through your teachings, and enjoying the whole thing while you do it. If you don’t love the idea of teaching you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place, especially if you aren’t quite sure what you want to do.
